30in. nitro reproved twist barrels, broad rib re-engraved 'F.W. ROBERTS. MAKER LONDON & BIRMINGHAM', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, treble-grip action with slim carved serpentine fences, Bentley patent push down toplever, patent no. 11625 of 26th August 1884, broad strikers, rebounding sidelocks with carved hammers, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the rear of the lockplates with oval vignettes of game birds, brushed and reblued finish overall, 14 1/8in figured semi-pistolgrip stock with domed pistolgrip-cap and ornately carved buttplate, fore-end with horn finial and Deeley & Edge patent release, weight 7lb. 3oz.
